The position of homeopathy in the world
Although homeopathy have been discovered 230 years ago by Dr Samuel Hahnemann but only scientific view has begun only since 25 years. Currently homeopathy has been integrated into the national health care systems of many countries, including India, Mexico, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom. In the World Health Organization report about alternative medicine that published in 2001, we n...
متن کاملSerial dependence in position occurs at the time of perception.
Observers perceive objects in the world as stable over space and time, even though the visual experience of those objects is often discontinuous and distorted due to masking, occlusion, camouflage, or noise. How are we able to easily and quickly achieve stable perception in spite of this constantly changing visual input? It was previously shown that observers experience serial dependence in the...
متن کاملHarmonic oscillator with nonzero minimal uncertainties in both position and momentum in a SUSYQM framework
In the context of a two-parameter (α, β) deformation of the canonical commutation relation leading to nonzero minimal uncertainties in both position and momentum, the harmonic oscillator spectrum and eigenvectors are determined by using an extension of the techniques of conventional supersymmetric quantum mechanics combined with shape invariance under parameter scaling. The resulting supersymme...
متن کاملPosition measurements obeying momentum conservation.
We present a hitherto unknown fundamental limitation to a basic measurement: that of the position of a quantum object when the total momentum of the object and apparatus is conserved. This result extends the famous Wigner-Araki-Yanase theorem, and shows that accurate position measurements are only practically feasible if there is a large momentum uncertainty in the apparatus.
متن کاملThe Mass - Velocity and Position - Velocity Relations in Episodic Outflows
While observational evidence for the episodic nature of young stellar outflows continues to mount, existing numerical and theoretical models of molecular outflows assume they are formed by the interaction of a non-episodic wind from a young stellar object with an ambient cloud. In this Letter we estimate and discuss the effects of episodicity on the mass-velocity and position-velocity relations...
